Isang makasaysayang takbo para sa Pag-asa upang sagiping ang Pasig River. 120,000 runners mula sa iba’t-ibang sektor magsasama-sama para sa isang layunin. Ito ay isa nanaman sa makabuluhang proyekto ng ABS-CBN upang buksan ang isipan ng publiko na hindi pa huli ang lahat upang sagipin ang ilog na bumubuhay sa atin. May pag-asa pa!

1ST FIGARO FUN RUN
Figaro Foundation Corporation’s coffee tree planting that first started in 2000, and has now become an institutional undertaking participated in, and lauded by many sectoral groups, all appreciative of local and home-grown barako coffee.
Fueling these projects is the upcoming fundraising event entitled 1st Figaro Fun Run “Race to Save The Barako Tree” to be held on September 4, 2010 (Saturday) at Bonifacio Highstreet, The Fort. The Figaro Foundation Corporation has always been blessed to be a recipient of the support of our corporate partners, such as 100Plus & Summit water, San Marino Brand, Gardenia, Nature Valley, Witribe, Citibank and Cebuana Lhuillier just to name a few. The event features a 3k, 5k and 10k run.

In cooperation with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Bayanihang Bayan Legacy Project we can act and contribute in our own little way to stop the effects of climate change. We can help replant hectares of land in the Ipo Watershed in Sitio Ipo, Norzagaray, Bulacan with the assistance of the local “Dumagat” community. We can make a difference now.
